SPX barely moved but the day was far from boring — crude up 3.5%, HNST +41%, ASPN +37%. Here's how I graded it and what I'm hunting tomorrow.
Flat index day, but the tape underneath told a completely different story. Crude ripping 3.5% while SPX shed 0.17% is a divergence I'm paying attention to — energy was the only sector that actually showed up today, and that's not noise.

I graded today a B-minus. Energy caught me underleveraged — I had a half position in an XLE-adjacent name and left real money on the table. My small-cap scanner flagged zero qualifiers at open, which saved me from chasing noise, but ASPN and HNST both ran without me. That's fine. Discipline over FOMO. Crypto Fear & Greed sitting at 25 (Extreme Fear) while BTC is only down 0.32% is actually a bullish divergence I'm watching closely — sentiment is way more fearful than price action suggests. I'm not adding BTC here but I'm not trimming either. Tomorrow I'm setting alerts on OPRT $7.50 and ASPN $6.20 before the open, and if crude gaps up again I'm buying energy exposure in the first 30 minutes.
