Consumer and Comms led a +1.55% SPX day while crude dumped 5%. Here's what I got right, what I missed, and what I'm hunting tomorrow.
SPX closed at $7,605.46 and the tape was cleaner than I expected — Consumer up +2.01%, Comms up +2.92%, Tech up +1.69%. The story of the day was crude cratering -5.16% to $80.30, dragging Energy down -1.45% while everything else levitated. Ten-year yield dropped to 4.686% and that gave the rate-sensitive stuff room to breathe. I'll give today a B+.

Crypto Fear & Greed at 28 (Fear) while BTC is only up +0.58% — that divergence bothers me. I trimmed half my BTC position near $64,200 intraday. Wrong on crude today — I had a small XLE long I cut at a -2.1% loss, no regrets. Consumer and Comms runs are the real story and I was underexposed there. Gold is sitting fine. Tomorrow I'm opening the session watching AUTL for a clean flag setup above $1.75 — if it sets up in the first 30 minutes, I'm in half size.
